I really did not know who Heath Ledger really was. I now do, since all of the press surrounding his untimely death. How sad to have a beautiful wife, a precious little child, fame, money, all one would think is “everything” The truth is we tend to think “things” or “fame” replaces “self love”. It saddens me to see people who have worked so hard to have their dreams come true, and then risk it all….and in some cases…lose it all. I produced a CD for her, and she was in a music video I produced. I am so proud of her…..Wish I taught her to dance!!!!! I remember coming back from lunch in between studio sessions and looking over at her in the passenger seat and thinking “How did one little girl get so incredibly beautiful and talented, and also get blessed with such a beautiful heart. Julianne Hough is not only a consummate professional in all that she does…she is one of the sweetest young ladies I have had the pleasure to get to know…..Way to go Julianne!!….. I am so, so proud of you… I gave her my flashy blue sunglasses as a reminder of our time together, and well ,she also looked a lot better in them , than I did….way better :)

She taught me about Maybelline Turbo boost mascara………….so my eyelashes thank her as well.

I am usually on the road, or so busy, I have little time for television, but today while I was rambling around the house the Tyra Banks show came on television. There was this beautiful girl(Tyra) standing on national television in bathing suit, crying about what the tabloids have said about her getting fat. I became totally intrigued in what Tyra was speaking about. I watched intenetly how the women in the audience poured tears as they saw their own insecurities in Tyra’s situation. It made me think about a few months ago, a friend of mine said her husband might leave her because her thighs are now touching…..Why, oh why, do we let our looks be our self worth. I am worth nothing because I do not look like a supermodel? I am nothing because my thighs touch…..? I so admired Tyra and her tenacity. I so applaud her for letting women know it is just fine to be who you are…..We are not our bodies!!!!…….We are our souls……We are our character………We all come in different packaging….and that is just fine…..Just like a great food……I don’t care about the packaging ….I care what is inside.. :)

Paris Hilton Dental Floss worth 1000.00?

I couldn’t believe it when a over lunch today a friend asked me if I had heard that a piece of dental floss supposedly used by Paris Hilton was sold for $1000.00. After my jaw dropped, I felt like I wanted to cry. How sad that we live in a society that values the dental floss of anyone….let alone a young lady who contributes, need I say very little to society. I am not saying she is not a person of value, but she certainly is not a role model who is more concerned with anyone other than herself. I thought wow…..I wonder what one of her Q-tips, or better yet, a piece of her used chewing gum would go for on eBay? This is sad, very sad.
