When it comes to celebrities, it is clear to see that many of them are not always as confident as what they would like you to believe. Lindsay Lohan, Britney Spears and Paris Hilton all come across as independent, confident young women, but are they really as confident as they make out?

The truth is that while celebrities often seem to be overly confident on the outside, most times, it is just an act. They are taught how to handle the media and the public attention, but sometimes cracks do start to show, and you are left to wonder just how confident these celebrities actually are.
In the case of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton and Britney Spears, all are constantly hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons. Their weight, their clothes and the way in which they act is scrutinized every single day and their action soften seem to be attention seeking.
Now the truth about attention seeking is that you are never truly confident if you need people’s attention on you all of the time. A truly confident person will not need anybody else’s approval. They will not need the limelight all of the time and their weight will not be a major problem to them. So when you see Paris Hilton out and about with the latest accessory, looking thinner and desperate for attention, she may seem confident but that is likely to not bathe case. Britney Spears has also shown major signs of depression with her recent behavior and Lindsay Lohan is also a troubled young star.
So while millions of people crave to be just like these various celebrities, they do not fully understand the pressures that they are under. They see them in magazines and on television and they assume that they have everything they want and that they are confident, but that really is not true. Paris Hilton, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan all show signs of being uncomfortable with themselves, they just know how to hide it from the world. Well, some of the time.
